The Group achieved highly positive results: sales revenue of €774.1 million, up 4% compared to 2022; Gross Operating Margin at €135.8 million, up 10.6%; and net profit of €86.0 million, with a 34.5% increase.
Sassuolo, July 2024 – The Shareholders’ Meeting of Kerakoll S.p.A., a B Corp-certified Benefit Company and a multinational company active in the construction industry, approved the figures of the consolidated financial statements for the year 2023.
Within an overall framework in which the Group’s economic and income performance during the period was very positive, Kerakoll achieved consolidated revenues from sales of €774.1 million, up 4% from 2022, when they stood at €744.4 million.
Italy was confirmed as the most significant market for Kerakoll, with 458.4 million euros in revenues realized in 2023, accounting for 59% of total revenues.
The Group confirmed the acceleration of its internationalization path, recording an 11% increase in revenues in foreign countries, which amounted to 315.6 million euros, or 41% of total revenues.
All the countries in which Kerakoll has a direct presence with production facilities showed significant growth in sales figures: in particular, Spain (+7%), Portugal (+13%), Great Britain (+17%), Poland (+17%), Greece (+19%), Germany (+7%), France (+12%), India (+17%) and Brazil (+16%).
In terms of profitability, the consolidated Gross Operating Margin showed an increase of +10.6%, rising from 122.8 million in 2022 to 135.8 million in 2023. Consolidated EBIT was 118.8 million euros (+21.8% from 97.5 million euros in the previous year).
Consolidated net income was 86.0 million euros, showing substantial growth from 63.9 million in 2022 (+34.5%). Net ROE was also up, rising from 15.8%.
